Linen Union

got self-directed week so it means a week off! yeiyyyy!

was spent the whole day in print workshop, doing digital printing for my fabric samples on linen union
(still exploring different kind of fabric type).

and it was completely awesome! i like the texture of it! it looks professional :p

oh and i will do screen printing on foil next week!

Holiday Project with mommaaaa!

Because of i don't know what to do during my loooong holiday,

so while i'm skyping with my mom, suddenly she come up with an idea to make some project!

actuallyyy, she found this idea a long time ago, its like before i go to birmingham,

but i don't have much time to do this.. soooo finally i can do it now! yeiyy!

This is the sneak peak!

first, i'll draw several girl with different kind of style and clothes,

(even i made a mermaid and fox!). After that, i'll contact the famous print company in Indonesia,

then choose the fabric and decide what size that i want, then send the file by email

or wetransfer (if its too big). And voila! the fabric with the picture that i draw were done

for only 2 days and they will send directly to my home in Jakarta!

Wait, it's not done yet..

after it deliver to my mom.. she will do something magical with her hand..

she will sew it then make a doll of each picture! of each person!!

AAAHH SO EXCITED!

I just back from Scotland! i went visits Edinburgh and Glasgow for 4 nights

i love Edinburgh most rather than Glasgow, :p
it an old town full of historic area and buildings! lovely!

First Experiment

Heyho!

Last week i'm doing my first digital printing on fabric! i was too excited!

the first pattern which i want to print is my Sumba pattern..

those are the famous sumba horse,

and here are the step of digital printing in my campus..

yeses it's done!!

these are mine, candy's and lan's..

but actually i didn't like the colour! hahaha

i think the colour were reduce because of the fabric..

but it's fine, i like it! but must try again next time

and it must be perfecto! :D

I'm really excited about their product since i knew that they had collaborated with Christian Joy,

to make some stage costume for KAREN O!

Really inspiring! Wish i can combine my textile project with these material!

Well Hello Again!!!

It's been a long time for me not to post anything in this blog, actually it's been a YEAR!! 

Well, hello again guys.. the reason why i'm back is, my lecture said i need to keep update with any social media, such as instagram, facebook, pinterest, twitter and BLOG! hahahah i need to post any kind of things that inspires me a lot, but mostly i used them as my diary LOL! like used to taking a pic of my favourite meals!
so now i have to behave polite a little bit..

But, i want you guys know that i'm living in Birmingham now, in United Kingdom!! Finally my dream come trueeeeee!!! (ALHAMDULILLAH).. I'm continue my study into master in this city! so exciting! i took MA of Textile Design! It's been 2 months that i stayed here.. so far i quite enjoy it, for this 2 month i already got many experience, had many new friends which came from different countries and different background also!
and especially met a lot of talented UK designers! So amazing! They were inspired me..

And it's been 2 month that i'm stayed verryyyy veryyyy far from home, far from my familyyyy and of course eki! :( it takes 18 hours by plane to travel from jakarta to birmingham.. so sad.. and i need to stay here for completely one year without going back to my hometown even it was a holiday..
but i think it all might be very worthed for my future of course! (amiiin..)

Singa Ros

A few weeks ago, i went to singapore to watch Sigur Ros's concert which held in Fort Canning Park.
It was great but while their performance its raining, its really heavy so unfortunately we get wet.

Beside Orchard and Sommerset, we also went to Universal Studio Singapore.

It was my second time to go there and i didn't go to ride the Galactica or Cylon thing.

By reason of too afraid hihi sorry!

After slept 3 nights at 5footwayinn hostel in chinatown, we miss our flight on Saturday 6pm at Changi Airport

which is the flight that brought us home. So we travelled to Batam by fery and

spend 1 night in Batam then tomorrow morning on Sunday, we flew to Jakarta safely.

Well, it was full of surprise journey, but i enjoy it.
